The 2024 NGO Awards, held in Nairobi on Friday November 29, 2024 brought together leading NGOs, journalists, celebrities, and changemakers from across Kenya to celebrate outstanding contributions in various sectors. Organized by the Public Benefit Organizations Regulatory Authority (PBORA) in partnership with Awesome Concepts Limited, the event recognized excellence in 23 categories, including healthcare, education, gender empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
Speaking during the award ceremony, Ciheb-Kenya CEO, Dr. Emily Koech, dedicated the award to the thousands of Persons Living with HIV whose experiences inspire our work and whose challenges motivate us to continually improve and innovate our approach to healthcare. “At Ciheb-Kenya, we are driven by a shared vision to improve lives and transform healthcare across Kenya, particularly for the people living with HIV (PLHIV) whom we serve.
